✨ Mirage Studios Volunteer Roles: Game Designer & Producer 🚀 Production

About Us:
Mirage Studios is part of the Cave Bear Games Partner Studios Program, a collaborative group committed to providing opportunities for individuals interested in entering the game industry. Our team consists mainly of junior developers working together to create a project they can be proud of while honing their skills in a structured environment. Our inaugural game is a creature collection adventure focused on exploration and progression, featuring real-time action combat that allows players to switch control between the Trainer and their Companion at will.

The Roles:
Game Designer (Generalist)
As a Game Designer, you will work directly with the Game Director to transform broad ideas, design concepts, and gameplay objectives into detailed, practical design documents. This role offers a valuable opportunity to contribute creatively to our project while gaining hands-on experience.

Game Producer
The Game Producer will oversee project timelines, ensuring deadlines are realistic and clearly defined. This role involves tracking progress across different departments, facilitating communication between team members, organizing meetings, and documenting key decisions to keep the project on track.

Note:
We are a team of primarily junior developers working on our first game as a portfolio piece. This is a volunteer position driven by a passion for game development, collaboration, and learning. No professional experience is required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential.
